Adobe Photoshop CC 2020: Emojis
This tutorial will show you how to access emojis in Photoshop CC 2020 that you can use in all of your projects.
Spoiler:
Use the Type Tool (T)
Select the Font Emoji One by Adobe

Notes:
Type in Photoshop is Vector, so emojis can be scaled up or down without loss of image quality.If you rasterize type to change colors, etc, then it is no longer a vector
If you convert text to shape, then shape layers are vectors.

How To Get Emojis in Photoshop CC 2020:
1. Open Photoshop Document
2. Click on Type Tool (keyboard shortcut T)
3. Select Emoji One Font
4. If Glyphs Panel does not open (Windows….Glyphs)
5. With Type Tool Selected (T) click on the document to start typing
6. Double click on an emoji from the Glyphs Panel to add emoji
7. You can adjust size just like a font
8. You will see emoji in Layers Panel as Text Layer
9. Add fx, styles, etc
The Glyphs Panel:
1. To access: Window Menu…Glyphs
2. Zoom in and out using the slider at the bottom-left (or click the mountains)
3. There is a drop-down menu to sort by different parameters
4. Most recent glyphs will be on the very top
5. Click the hamburger menu in the top-right to ‘Clear recent glyphs.
Customize the Color of Emojis (Rasterize Type):
1. Right-click on Text Layer and select Rasterize Type
2. Rasterized text is no longer editable text or a vector
3. Use the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to easily change colors
