In this full but easy website build for local business step by step WordPress build I will be showing that building a website for a local business does not have to be hard or complicated.
Often these sites are just meant to collect leads and serve as a showcase of the businesses work. I have built many local business websites over the years and this one here shows off a new template I have been working on.

Now onto the build:
Homepage: The large image for the front screen splash size 1920 x 1440
The three icons sizes: 512 x 512
The testimonial images: 640 x 640
The website builder Elementor will adjust these anyway to fit in each image segment on the website but its good practice to make them the same before starting your project. If you are unsure how to change image sizes a simple program like PAINT will do the job just fine.
All other picture sizes: 1600 x 1067
I really hope you got some value from this video. Making websites for local businesses does not have to be complicated. They really do not need to be. Often the business just wants a website that their customers can use easily, and one that has simple contact information and a place to see their work.
This website build does all of that.
This is the reason why I use WordPress and Elementor, you do not need to be a super hot graphics designer as they are making things a lot more user friendly now with templates like this in the video.
I have sold websites following this exact template before to local clients, and they have been delighted with their sites. This is a nice way to create an easy WordPress website that serves a purpose and will do exactly what it is intended to do.
This is a fully mobile responsive website, as most of the traffic on the internet now comes from mobile devices this is a must.
This tutorial is very much for beginners. I am not going to show you anything advanced here – that is not its purpose. It is designed to be an easy to follow, step by step guide in getting you to build a nice simple website.
