Some of the best digital advertising tutorials online.

There are several ways to track conversions in your Google Ads account. Google Analytics conversion tracking in Google Ads is one of the top options because you can track all of the key performance indicators on your website. Whether you want to track conversions for your business website, track leads, track new client requests, or track ecommerce transactions and revenue, you can do it all with Google Analytics Google AdWords conversion tracking.

The first thing you need to do to get started is install Google Analytics on your website. You need Google Analytics on your website because it will look at all of the pages on your website, key events, and key pages that you may want to use as a conversion. In addition, it can be useful for tracking revenue, sales, leads, and transactions. Anything that you can track using Google Analytics can be used as a conversion in your Google Ads account.

Next, you will need a Google Ads account. Once you have your Google Analytics account set-up and installed on your website, and your Google Ads account created, you are ready to link your accounts.

Go to your Google Ads account, click on Tools & Settings, and then click on the Linked Accounts URL from the drop-down menu. Then, click on Google Analytics, specifically the ‘Details’ link. Next, you need to click on the ‘Link’ URL in order link your Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts.

Now, you are ready to set-up Goals in your Google Analytics account. There are a variety of Goals that you can create and import into your Google Ads account. For our example, we will be tracking a Thank You page on our website so we can import that conversion into Google AdWords. You can track when people visit specific URLs or URLs that begin with certain words. In addition, you can create multiple goals and import them into your Google Ads account.

I also show an example of how to set-up Enhanced Ecommerce conversion tracking in Google Analytics with a Shopify website. You first need to install your Google Analytics tag on your Shopify website. Then, you can enable ecommerce tracking in Google Analytics, which will allow you to track Transactions. Then, you can import your Google Analytics Goals and Transactions, and choose to import the Transactions goal directly into your Google AdWords account. You will now be able to track Revenue and total Transactions in your account.
