In this video, I discussed the 10 free WordPress plugins that I always install when I build a brand new website or blog for future monetization.

These plugins lay out the foundation of all my blogs and make it easier for me to focus more on content and how to optimize them for SEO or search engines.

Here are the top 10 WordPress plugins:
1. Classic Editor – if you don’t like Gutenberg, then this plugin is for you. If you are used to creating content using Microsoft word or with just google docs, this plugin brings back the tiny MCE editor which is the same as you’re editing with word and other popular word processors.

2. Yoast SEO – this is the friendliest SEO plugin out there that will make your SEO life easier. If you’re a newbie in SEO or just don’t know what it is, this plugin is a great place to start knowing its fundamentals.

3. WP Form – Make creating forms on your website easier such as creating contact forms and any other forms.

4. Really Simple SSL – takes out the technicalities in installing an SSL for your website. It’s free and if your host offers free SSL, you just need to install and activate it.

5. WP Code – this makes validating or installing codes on different parts of your websites easier such as installing Google Analytics or any other marketing tools you might be using.

6. Wordfence – it’s free and it makes your website more secure and protected from Malware. No explanation – it’s a must.

7. Jetpack – loads of features even for a free plan. I personally love the image Acceleration or free CDN and social profile management (auto-posting of your blog post to your social profiles)

8. WP Mail SMTP – you don’t want your website (transactional or not) not being sent/delivered in the first place. This plugin will make sure they get sent.

9. WP Fastest Cache – This makes your website load faster by rendering premade static versions of your web pages.

10. Link Whisper – Get it here:
I love this and I can’t recommend it high enough – it makes interlinking within your blog posts or pages a breeze. Free and also premium versions are available.
