tulameen camera
A new website, membership system and camera

Tulameen Community Club

The town of Tulameen and its nonprofit "Tulameen Community Club" came to us to develop them a new website, setup some better camera infrastucture and also enable them to process memberships annually online via credit card.
The Website
We custom designed a high performing and scalable wordpress website that included API calls to display the current weather in the community, an online (live) camera feed, and online membership management. The website is responsive, indexing with search engines and providing the community (both full time residents and tourists\cabin owners) with the ability to quickly see road conditions through multiple camera feeds and get up to date information on the community.

New camera and infrastructure

We installed a new PPOE, high resolution (4k) camera and set up the infrastructure to send imagery to a cloud-based solution which substantiallly reduced bandwidth usage on the community clubs tower-based internet connection.
The new website also included an online membership system that automatically allows Community Club members to register online with their credit card, and set up renewal options. This removes the need for manual paper and form processing on the small group of volunteers that run the club. The community club is responsible for many events, resources and support for the Tulameen community.

A beautiful, responsive website

We also custom developed several back end functional utilities for the community club board to be able to quickly add events, news articles and business listings to sponsors throughout the community. This enables them to quickly add businesses to their growing list of financial sponsors.
Understanding the demographics and geographics of the website's visitors was a key part of our UX process to ensure that functionality was built to support both all of the website's user base. Thousands of people count on the website every month for up to date information on the community and its current weather.
