Search Engine Optimization Tips

How to dominate the first page of Google and get your website found.
It has become increasing more difficult to get onto the first page of Google for almost any search term and as soon as you do Google changes its algorithm and you disappear.
It is possible though to get onto the first page and even dominate the first page of google if you give Google what it wants: good regular information spread over all the social media channels and in every form, written, audio, graphic and video.

You have to think like a potential client searching for what you can offer, so if you are a health and fitness club in in London, your search phrase might be ‘Health club London’ or ‘Fitness Training London’.

Once you have the 3 word phrase you have to think about becoming part of the Google family and putting that phrase into everything that belongs to Google:
• YouTube for your video
• Blogger for your articles
• Google +
• Picasa for your infographic
Firstly, ensure that you have that three word phrase on every page of your website as well as in the profile of all your social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Vimeo. Slideshare, LinkedIn, Picasa, Pinterest, Instagram and all the other platforms where you are sharing information.
The secret to dominating Google is having good information for your clients or potential clients.
Let’s take the example of the Health Club in London. They will be writing an article called ‘How to get a 6 pack in 3 months’.
That article must include ‘London Health Club’ in the text as well as the end of the article in the ‘about section’
The first place this article needs to be uploaded to is their website, a respun version onto their blog on Blogger (Google does not like duplicate content), another onto LinkedIn and then share the article with the various article directories. On every one of these platforms in the ‘tags’ section include the phrase ‘London Health Club’
Then promote the article through Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+
Next make an audio recording and share this on the various audio platforms once again including the phrase ‘London Health Club’ in the tags.
After that make a video of the same information and share that on all the video platforms, the most important being YouTube. When you upload the video ensure that the key phrase ‘London Health Club’ is in the title, description and tags. Before you upload the video, also rename it ‘London Health Club’
Next create an infographic, I use some great software to do this, take a look at http://www.frankfurness.com/logocreator
Once you have created the infographic that might have a nice picture of someone with a 6 pack saying ‘How to get a six pack in 3 months’, you need to do two things:
• Rename the graphic/picture – call it London Health Club
• Right click on the graphic, go to properties/details/tags and insert the tag ‘London Health Club’ as well as some other tags.
It is now ready for uploading and has been made easy to find by Google.
Upload the graphic to Pinterest, Picasa, and Instagram with a description on each that once again includes the 3 word phrase.
What you have now created is relevant information for Google where it will find your three keyword phrase on all of your various social media platforms as well as on the information you have shared in terms of articles, audio, video and graphics which all include the phrase.
You must ensure that you are also putting out new information on a regular basis as that is what Google is looking for as well as your clients.
