How To Ping Google News When You Post A New WordPress Article

Learn how you can get your website approved in Google News here:

In this video I’m going to show you an awesome plugin for your Google news website, for WordPress only, and what it does is it is a plug-in that alters your RSS feed so it only puts your pertinent information into your Google News RSS feed.

What happens is with this plugin is whenever you post something on your website this is also going to ping Google to let Google News know that you have published something new on your website, and that Google needs to crawl your your RSS feed so that they can index a new post from your Google News website.

Having this plug-in installed considerably increases the time it takes for Google to index your posts on your website, meaning that each post will most likely get indexed faster. What I mean by faster is that it could take anywhere from 10 minutes, to a few hours or days for Google to index your Google News posts but with this plug-in installed a greatly increases the chances that Google is going to end extra Google News posts quicker.
