It takes less than two minutes to install a WordPress plugin from your desktop.
In this video I install SEOPress Pro (
Uploading a WordPress plugin is mostly reserved for those times you purchase a pro upgrade of a free WordPress plugin.
SEOPress Pro requires you to add your license key. Other plugin providers might require a different method for activating a plugin.

0:00 – Log into WordPress
0:13 – Open the Plugins page
0:16 – Click Add New
0:20 – Click Upload Plugin
0:22 – Click Choose file and select the zip file
0:29 – Click Install Now
0:42 – Click Activate Plugin
0:49 – Click Activate your license
0:54 – Click Activate License (again)
1:03 – Paste your license into the box
1:04 – Click SAVE CHANGES
1:09 – Click Activate License (yet again)
